The Williams Company Expert / Consultant In 2016, I provided an expert opinion and testified in court on the merger of two companies in the energy field. The topic I discussed was the interplay of I.R.C. sections 721 and 707(a)(2)(B) when multiple assets are transferred to a partnership in exchange for different forms of consideration. Related litigation subsequently was initiated, and I was a potential witness in that litigation although ultimately I did not testify. May 2016 - June 2020
